Our project designer, Dan, will come to your home and talk to you about where to put your pool, what the elevation and grade should be, and how we can get equipment to the construction site. He will also help you think about design options and what you might want in your pool space.
You will not be bored while you are waiting for your pool to be installed. You will work with your designer, Dan, to perfect the plans for your space and choose the materials you want for your hardscape. Your landscape contract is separate from your pool contract, but the team who installs your pool will also install your patio and landscaping.
2-4 weeks before construction starts, Dan and your project manager Josh will visit your site together. They will lay out the position of the pool according to the plan, double checking the access points and where they will stage materials. They will check out your electrical panel and decide where the pad will go. They will familiarize you with the logistics and sequence of their upcoming construction events.
The equipment to install your pool arrives on the scene. This typically includes an excavator, telehandler and a Bob Cat. Your pool will arrive on a 5th wheel trailer or tractor trailer and be unloaded in a designated safe spot. Plumbing usually begins that same day. Excavation also typically begins this day as well.

After the gravel base is in place and the plumbing for your pool is installed, the pool will be placed in the ground. We will check it to make sure it is level and in the right position. We will put a little bit of gravel around the base of the pool to secure it in place and prepare it for water.
Water will be delivered to fill your pool. We will put gravel around the pool to make sure it is straight and the walls are strong.
We will put concrete under your tanning ledges to keep them solid. We will run plumbing underground from the pool to the equipment pad site where your pump and filter will be located. We will also install a bonding grid around your pool for safety from shock hazards. A bonding inspection will occur after the bonding is installed.
We will form and pour the concrete beam around the pool. This beam is concrete poured 6 inches deep and 12 inches wide, and it will be flush with the top edge of your pool. This locks your pool into place and provides a nice surface for your coping product of choice.
The equipment that runs your pool will be placed on a pad in the designated location. Each element will be plumbed together. This includes your pump, your filter, your chlorinator and heater if you've chosen that. We will tie in each piece of equipment and connect it to the pool. We take great care to take our time in this process and make sure every pipe and fitting is glued precisely to ensure no leaks.
